Who We Are
Ek Koshish Manavta Ke Naam is a non-profit organization based in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, dedicated to serving humanity through food distribution. Founded during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, our journey began with a single purpose — to ensure that no needy person goes to sleep hungry. Since then, our team of committed volunteers has been reaching out to the poor, helpless, and homeless at hospitals, railway stations, and streets, offering them free meals with love and dignity.
We believe that food is a basic human right, not a privilege. Our organization operates purely on community support and divine grace — without any fixed funding or demands. Every day, someone contributes — a bag of rice, a bundle of plates, or a sack of flour — and this selfless collaboration keeps our mission alive. We make sure that every meal served is nutritious, fresh, and made with the intention of spreading kindness and compassion.
Over the last three years, we have become a symbol of hope for many in Ballia district. The trust people place in us is our true reward. When we see someone waiting for our food van with faith in their eyes, we know our efforts matter. During the COVID-19 crisis, when all food and essential supply shops were shut down, we witnessed the struggles of lower and middle-class families at the district hospital. To support them and help reduce their daily expenses, ‘Ek Koshish Manavta Ke Naam’ was born — a humble beginning in the name of humanity. Moving forward, our mission is to establish a dedicated center for orphaned children and work tirelessly toward securing their bright and empowered future…
