Nourishing Lives
What We Do
We Find & Fund
We actively seek out individuals and communities who are struggling with hunger and hardship — whether they are on hospital grounds, railway stations, or living on the streets. With the help of kind-hearted contributors and community donations, we fund daily meal services without ever asking for a fee. Every grain we serve is made possible by people who believe in humanity and stand with us in our mission.
We Build Networks
At Ek Koshish Manavta Ke Naam, we believe in the power of people. We build strong networks of volunteers, donors, and compassionate citizens who come together to fight hunger and serve humanity. Through these connections, we create a support system that sustains our daily efforts and expands our reach — proving that when people unite for a cause, real change becomes possible.
We Serve the Hungry
Hunger doesn't wait, and neither do we. Our core activity is to prepare and distribute fresh, hygienic meals to those who are living without a roof, income, or support. From the streets to slums, we make sure that no one sleeps hungry when we are around. We aim to restore dignity through food and ensure that basic human needs are never ignored.
We Support Hospital Attendants
Many families travel from villages for treatment in city hospitals and often struggle to afford food while caring for loved ones. We serve meals daily near district and women’s hospitals to ease their burden and offer them strength through kindness. With full hearts and warm meals, we help families focus on healing, not hunger or worry.
We Feed at Railway Stations
Railway stations are shelter to many who live in transit — beggars, the elderly, or mentally ill. We regularly visit these stations to provide them with food, reminding them that they are seen, cared for, and not forgotten. These small acts of care create moments of hope and comfort in their otherwise harsh journey.
We Inspire Youth Participation
We believe today’s youth are tomorrow’s hope. By involving them in volunteering, distribution, and planning, we build not just a stronger organization, but also a generation of responsible, compassionate citizens. Together, we shape future leaders who value service, empathy, and community-driven change.

What We Care For!

What Drives Us to Serve
We are driven by the belief that no one should go to bed hungry.
Behind every meal we serve is a story of pain, resilience, and hope.
We see hunger not just as a physical need but a crisis of dignity.
Every act of service is our stand against indifference and inequality.

Our Commitment to Humanity
Our commitment goes beyond feeding — we restore hope where the world has forgotten to look.
From hospital wards to street corners, we serve without judgment or conditions.
Each smile we receive is a reflection of the care we give.
We believe in being human first, always and everywhere.

Causes Close to Our Heart
We care deeply for those society overlooks — daily wage workers, the homeless, and the abandoned.
Our cause is not charity, it’s responsibility — to stand with the weak, not above them.
We focus on the small things: a warm meal, a kind word, consistent presence.
These little acts create lasting change.

Why We Do What We Do
Because food is a right, not a luxury. And kindness should never need permission.
We serve not because we have everything, but because we understand the pain of having nothing.
Our journey began during COVID — now it’s a movement of ongoing compassion.
Serving is our prayer, our protest, and our purpose.

Compassion in Action
We believe that care without action is incomplete. So we show up, every single day.
From cooking to distributing, everything we do is hands-on and heart-first.
Our work speaks softly but powerfully — where others turn away, we stay and serve.
True compassion means showing up, especially when it’s hardest.

Rooted in Care, Powered by Purpose
This mission began with one man’s concern — today it’s a collective voice of compassion.
We don’t wait for funding; we move with faith and the support of kind hearts.
Every day we feed, care, and connect — because it’s not just about food.
It’s about restoring faith in humanity, one plate at a time.
